Bounden extruder - direct drive
thingiverse
Experience a highly efficient Direct Drive bowden extruder with an innovative twist - elastic bands replace springs for optimal performance. View my Version 1 (V1) featuring a lower screw that provides a simple finger grip, functioning seamlessly. This design has proven to be effective and was inspired by my original extruder created from leftover plastic sheets. I recommend printing at 0.5 mm with 100% fill for optimal results. V1's lower mount screw may interfere with your finger grip, so consider using Version 2 (V2) for improved ergonomics. To assemble, tap the hole for bearings to M5, install two *626Z bearings measuring 6mm x 19mm and a M4 tubing. Don't forget to clean up the feed hole for the lower arm to ensure smooth operation.
