Another iteration of the Airtrippers design is unveiled! This latest version takes a cue from its predecessor's flexibility and amplifies it with added rigidity and comfort. The new design accommodates a ~65mm length of standard 2x4 PTFE tubing, ensuring seamless filament flow with minimal friction. By doing so, parasitic gaps are eliminated, leaving only the gentle interaction between the filament and PTFE. For those who wish to reimagine this concept according to their own vision, STEP files have been provided for easy modification. To assemble this innovative design, you'll need 2x 608 bearings (commonly found in skateboards, rollerblades, and spinners), a set of M3 screws identical to the original Airtrippers part, along with an M3 bolt and nut, and several springs to facilitate smooth lever-handle operation. Additionally, wood screws approximately 10mm long are required for securing the inner PTFE tube and attaching the enhancer to the body. The PTFE fitting boasts a 10mm thread and features a slot at its top for secure attachment of an M10 nut. Furthermore, in the unlikely event of thread damage, the fitting can be reinforced with four wood screws.
