Here's the rewritten text: I installed a spare deck hatch plug for my Weta trimaran, which serves as ventilation when it's on land. I noticed that after leaving the Weta outside under a tarp for one or two weeks, there was always a bit of water in the small hulls, likely due to condensation. Then you just leave the original deck hatch plugs open and the new plug gets exposed to sunlight, which isn't good. So, it's enough to open the original hatches first, then put those ones back in their place. I added a lanyard to the replacement plug so I wouldn't forget it when I go sailing...
