To convert a first-class VMC mouthpiece into an adjustable one, you need to remove the three connections that hold the central part in place (metal saw). The PieceVMC1b (80mm) or 1b110 (depending on size) must be glued into the cylindrical part of the mouthpiece, above the conical area. A M6 screw is inserted before this. The PiéceVMC2_1b piece must then be glued onto the PiéceVMC2_1a piece. After that, you need to drill an M6 hole in the central part of PieceVMC2_1a. Add a long M6 screw with a threaded head into PieceVMC2_1a and you can adjust the mouthpiece's opening until it closes completely. To prevent PieceVMC2_1a from falling off if you unscrew too much, you can add a nyloc nut to the end of the M6 screw.
