This is the Moonlight Scimitar from The Legend of Zelda Breath of The Wild! I spent a month modeling it in Fusion 360, carefully crafting each detail before printing it on my Tronxy i3 style machine. Despite being a cheap kit, the results were impressive. To bring this sword to life, I designed hollow channels through its length, allowing for easy integration with Neopixels and an Arduino Nano. This setup enables mesmerizing animations and patterns to dance across the blade. Alternatively, you can print it without LEDs, and it will still look great. Assembly is a breeze; simply glue the parts together using a strong adhesive like super glue gel. I chose not to paint the blade, allowing the LED light to shine through and create an ethereal effect. To accommodate more electronics, I added twine and cloth to the center, concealing the wiring within. It's not perfect, but it works beautifully, and the sword looks amazing. Unfortunately, I no longer have the sword, as I made it as a gift for someone who is now enjoying it! If you're interested in replicating this masterpiece, feel free to ask questions or request the Fusion 360 files. If you do decide to print and build this sword, I'd love to see your creation! Please share your photos, and let's celebrate another amazing make.
