bottom plate for parrot ar drone 2
thingiverse
Print your own bottom plate for the Parrot AR Drone 2 to protect its mainboard and electronics during hard landings or crashes on rough terrain while adding a creative touch. This plate can be glued onto either the existing bottom plate or directly to the drone's frame, replacing the original one. Ensure that the original bottom plastic film remains intact as it seals the electronics from wetness. You may also choose to drill small holes in the plate and use it with an existing bottom-plate screw mod. In the pictures, a user printed two plates - a white solid one and a black one with parts left out for their logo. The last picture is a photoshopped illustration of what the drone might look like with LEDs installed inside. Note that depending on your print quality, you may need to widen the hole for the groundcam slightly.
