Bottom Plate for Ender3 S1 Pro / Plus
thingiverse
Why creating a bottom plate when there is already one? Well, the original is metal. This is more likely to responde to vibrations and magnify them, making the printer louder than must. I also added different low noise fans to the motherboard (80mm) and the PU (40mm) and felt like they should breath more free. Now my E3S1 is much less annoying. I made the plate in 4 parts and also included the complete plate. Feel free to add fan outlets. But I can recommend to print this WITHOUT top and bottom layers! This exposes the infill and leads to a nice, open grid. It also reduces the print time dramatically. Make sure you can still mount the motherboard fan. I joint the 4 parts with a few cable binders. it's a bit wobbly, but when mounted it is ok. I assume it helps to mount this more easily as the plate can be bend when just bound and not clued.
