Bottom Cover for F330 Drone Frame
thingiverse
This is a custom bottom cover, cap or lid designed specifically for the F330 drone frame. To accommodate the battery, I opted to flip the lower plate of the frame, relocating the power distribution solder pads to the outside/bottom section. This necessitated the creation of this protective cover to safeguard these crucial components. Additionally, ample space was left for incorporating a power module within. The cover is designed to fit snugly into the four rounded, rectangular holes found on the board, providing secure retention. A counterpart component is required to screw the cover firmly in place. Within these upper sections, precision-cut holes facilitate the passage of smaller cables and connectors, such as the power/sensor connector for the APM/Pixhawk. To ensure optimal performance, the upper side of the cover was minimized in size, freeing up valuable space on the top side of the board – in this case, reserved for the battery. To assemble the cover, four countersunk M3 screws (at least 12 mm long) and matching nuts are required. Conveniently, recesses have been provided to house the nuts.
