bottom bracket locknut wrench (openscad)
thingiverse
I designed a wrench for loosening the locknut on older style bottom brackets. I 3D printed it in PLA at 70% infill. First, I sprayed the locknut with WD40 to loosen it up. Then, I inserted a screwdriver into one of the notches and tapped it gently with a hammer several times in the direction of loosening. After that, I used the wrench. I broke one wrench that was printed at 20% infill, so I decided to try the WD40 plus screwdriver plus wrench method. You should print the test STL file first to see if the dimensions work for you. If not, I've included an OpenSCAD file so you can make any necessary adjustments. The following videos were helpful: https://youtu.be/aMSZ8Z8i-KY
