We construct a stunning bottle façade in our eco-friendly strawbale abode. We employ an array of blue libenfraumilch wine bottles, measuring 7.5cm (0.7L) and 10cm (1.5L) in diameter, showcasing their unique dimensions. The bottles will be securely fastened into foam blocks, which will subsequently be plastered to create a seamless surface. I designed a precision hole saw to efficiently cut holes in styrofoam for the bottles, utilizing an M8 screw as its central axis. The drilling rig was 3D printed from PETG with remarkable accuracy. When working with styrofoam, it's essential to take regular breaks to prevent overheating, which can cause the hole saw to melt. Our double-glazed wall will consist of two layers of foamed polystyrene, each measuring 10 cm thick, with a double glazing unit sandwiched between them.
