This is a threaded part that mates perfectly with many common bottles. If, like me, you're plagued by an obsessive-compulsive disorder that makes you absolutely hate wasting even the last drop of liquid in a bottle of shampoo or soap, you can use this to easily transfer the remaining contents of the old bottle into the new one. Mainly I wanted to try printing something threaded without any supports, and it turned out beautifully. A surprisingly large number of bottles of this size seem to work perfectly with it. You absolutely don't want to have supports enabled regardless of the printer you use.
