The other day, while browsing the site, I stumbled upon this Thing for a fin set designed specifically for bottle rockets. Despite my best efforts, however, I was unable to find a single matching nose cone that would pair perfectly with it. Any model rocketeer worth their salt will tell you that rockets require a proper nose cone to minimize wind resistance just as much as they need fins for stabilization. So, here's my contribution to Independence Day. After printing the original fin sets, I discovered that they were 1mm too small to fit my 6mm diameter bottle rockets. To make matters worse, the fins were also slightly too thin to my liking. I therefore remixed them into this revised version. Have fun and never forget July 4th! Print Settings: Supported: No Resolution: 0.3 mm Infill: 10% Notes: It's highly recommended that you print multiple pieces at once to allow for proper cooling. I suggest printing half a dozen or so of these nose cones and another half-dozen or so of the fin sets simultaneously. Printing seven of each at 60mm/sec is estimated to take about an hour, so...
