Bottle Rocket
thingiverse
This is an uncomplicated air rocket project that's printed in two parts from PLA material. To construct the launcher, you can learn how to build it by watching a YouTube video on how to build a launch system using a water bottle. I've had successful launches ranging from 140-170 feet (40-50 meters) and with a heavier rocket, you may be able to exceed 100 meters. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tjowr_EV5IY Print Settings: Printer Brand: Prusa Printer: Prusa Steel Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .35 Infill: 17% Notes: You will want to print the body of this rocket at a .2 tolerance and 100% infill or you may experience issues after launching it many times. The nose can be between 15-20% infill, and I recommend experimenting with a heavier nose to improve stabilization during flight when using higher pressure.
