To open a bottle, there's a specific force needed to remove the cap from the bottle. The 3D printed part tends to break easily at some points. I designed a bottle opener in the shape of a '6'. There are no sharp corners where your hand is on. The rounded shape is also very strong as opposed to right angles. The opening for the coin has also some chamfers at one side to avoid right angles and make it stronger. Earlier designs breaked at that point while removing a cap from a bottle. I used only 20% infill, but i printed it with 5 outline layers to create a strong object. 🔴 This bottle opener works with a (€0,20) coin with an outer diameter of ø22.20mm and a thickness of 2.1mm. ⚠ Usage of any models from 3DParts4U will be at your own risk!
