The Story
A hot evening ago I was very thirsty and the only way to solve this problem was a nice refreshing cool beer. This understanding in mind I quickly went to the fridge, grabbed one beer and the bottle opener. *Then it happened: While opening the bottle cap the bottle opener snapped in two pieces! Disaster!* Another opener wasn't at a reach so I ended up opening the beer with a screwdriver... The whole action cost me, at least, a minute or so - intolerable! So a replacement was needed. The metal part was ok, only the plastic bit broke so the idea was quickly born to craft a 3d printed replacement part. And \*drummrolls\* what should I say, that's what I did. And that's propably why you are here, right?
The Replacement Part
This is a replacement part for a bottle opener that's used to open bottle caps of beer bottles (usually). What you need is the metal and the silicone part (see pictures below) of the original opener. So it's not a fully functional standalone bottle opener without this (maybe I have some time and design that later...). To have the needed strength my recomandation is to print it using PETG (that's what I did) or ABS.
The Assembly

Print the opener, with PETG or ABS (obviously)

Take the metal and silicone part out of the old opener

Insert the parts into the new printed opener

Open the beer

Drink it!

Repeat the steps 4 and 5 till drunk. Goto bed! :P
<\ol>
