I created the first bottle opener as a challenge, testing whether it could be done without a metal insert and still maintain a slim design. These openers fit perfectly in pockets. One boasts "Another ONE!" and was crafted with compactness in mind. The second is shaped like a beer can and features "BEER" prominently on its surface. So far, they've performed admirably, but I haven't had much opportunity to use them extensively yet. Enjoy! Update (12/11/17): PETG has proven itself to be the most durable material for bottle openers, with PLA coming in a close second and ABS being too soft to withstand regular use. Print Settings Printer: Monoprice Maker Select V2 Rafts: Not necessary Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 100% Notes: I printed these openers using PLA and highly recommend doing so. For optimal results, use infill settings between 80% to 100%. Additionally, printing with three or more perimeters is advisable. While rafts were used for ease of bed removal, they are not essential.
