Bottle Opener (Beer style)

This obsolete design is replaced by Thingiverse's item number 2341. It serves to separate a non-twist-off beer bottle cap without requiring any additional tools like a penny, as suggested originally. The operation works similarly to banging the bottle against a countertop. A forthcoming version will have its handle slot deleted or fixed due to printing issues. However, this design is currently in beta phase and may not work for everyone. Please share photos of failed attempts so improvements can be made. The GCode file is tailored for 4032D PLA but might work with ABS too. Since PLA prints better without a raft, the design is raft-less. To use this opener, print it (which takes about 20 minutes) and wait for it to cool (2-5 minutes). Ensure you use at least 50% infill for optimum strength. So far, it has opened three PLA bottles before failure; share your experience with different materials. To use the opener, insert the bottle into it so that the top of the opener is below the cap's bottom. Then, push upwards on the tab with your thumbs while holding the neck of the beer bottle. Be warned: cap and opener will fly off! Enjoy your beer thereafter.
