This is a versatile holder designed specifically for securing a 2-liter soda bottle as a bird feeder reservoir. You can easily modify its parameters to accommodate bottles of varying sizes; however, keep in mind that you may need to adjust the placement of the boss (ear) components if you opt for a different bottle diameter. I incorporated strategically positioned holes on the face of the ring to enable self-tapping screws to penetrate the bottle securely, thereby preventing it from coming loose and potentially plummeting to the ground.
