Hampson ID: ER_1801 Form: Bottle Site: Ellis Ridge This Arkansas Plain bottle was discovered in 1933. Although the exterior could have been painted black, this would not have been typical of a vessel from Mississippi and it is believed that the dark exterior was probably produced during firing. A large probe hole is evident near the base. http://hampson.cast.uark.edu/artifact.php?IDart=283 This object has 'polypaint' color data which can be used for color printing.
