Bottle Cutting Jig
thingiverse
A clever contraption for transforming bottles into useful containers for storing dry goods like rice, tea, or flour. The design is straightforward, but the machined brass component in the knife holder requires modification to suit your needs. Consider repurposing a cutter's blade and adjusting the bottlecutter_blade_holder.stl file accordingly. Non-printable items needed: 20x20 V-slot extrusions (2) of desired length 14/22/5 bearings for rollers (3) M5 screws with nuts (3) V-slot nuts with matching M4 screws (12) 6mm threaded inserts with M3 screws (1) for blade height adjustment Glass cutter blades (as shown in the images) A metal component to hold the blades in the holder I've endured a lengthy journey to bring this project to life, and I'd be grateful if you'd consider showing your appreciation through a tip via paypal.me/jackenberg.
