Bottle Chiller
thingiverse
This is a simple print originally designed for Chematox Lab, Inc. to hold standard laboratory graduated bottles below room temperature efficiently. Specifically, this model is made to securely hold a 500 mL glass graduated bottle with several liquid ice packs (Cold Packs, Instant Ice, etc...) strategically placed around the perimeter. The carefully crafted slits in the container allow for ice pack overflow and serve as a stabilizing feature to keep the packs firmly in place. I envision this model fitting a wide range of laboratory liquid-holding containers, or even serving as a convenient wine cooler solution. Print Settings: Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: TAZ 5 Supports: Yes Resolution: A precise 0.25 mm layer height was achieved. Infill: A moderate infill percentage of around 20% was used. Notes: This print turned out exceptionally well using high-temp PLA filament from Proto-Pasta. Support material was effectively utilized to fill in the slits within the cylinder.
