This is a Bottle Cap Lamp, made entirely from PLA. The circuit inside is surprisingly straightforward, consisting of just a resistor, an LED, and a microswitch that fits snugly into the top. Two LR44 batteries power it, connected by thin 2mm wire - a groove in the sides makes it easy to thread the wires alongside the cells. There's still plenty of work to be done on this project before it's complete, but I'm sharing it now in the hopes that someone will see its potential and create their own remix.
