Bottle camera mount
thingiverse
This camera mount is perfect for small action cameras, including the Samsung Gear 360. The tiny tripod that comes with it gets easily lost amidst other objects on a table, so I wanted something higher up. A simple solution was to use an old bottle. I liked the original cap design and only made some minor modifications by punching a threaded hole in the top. The hole is designed to take a standard 1/4" male to male tripod fitting, which can be found on Amazon at https://www.amazon.co.uk/Mudder-Threaded-Adapter-Monopod-Ballhead/dp/B01GH37HN6/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1484386611&sr=1-1&keywords=Mudder+1%2F+4+Inch+Male+to+1%2F+4+inch+Male+Screw+1%2F+4+Inch+Male+to+3%2F+8+Inch+Male+Threaded+Screw+Adapter+for+Camera%2F+Tripod%2F+Monopod%2F+Ballhead%2F+Light+Stand+%284+Pieces%29. Printing Settings: Printer: Malyan M150 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Infill: Varied Note: I printed my mount in PETG, but you may want to experiment with different infill percentages to achieve the desired level of flexibility. Using Simplify3D, I opted for a 10% infill up to 8.81mm height and then increased it to 30% for the remainder of the print. This will give your mount a good balance between strength and flexibility.
