Bottle cage bracket for 80s racing bike with 28mm tube

Adding a Second Bottle Cage to an Old Road Bike with a 28mm Frame Tube. I used these brackets on my 1986 Peugeot bike and they're designed so that you can slip some tape or rubber under them to avoid scratching the paint. There are two versions available: one comes with a captive nut, while the other does not. I printed them in PLA and found that the bolts cut their own thread in the material, making it unnecessary to use a nut. To make installation easier, I recommend soaking the brackets in hot water for a couple of minutes so they become flexible enough to slide over the frame without breaking. I used cap head stainless socket screws from Screwfix, which cost £3.39 for a pack of 50. The bosses are sized to accommodate the same bolts as the bottle cage, but be careful not to strip the paint if your cage is thin.
