Bottle Brush Stand
thingiverse
This thing is so handy, making everyday tasks a breeze. People don't usually think about what they do with a bottle brush after it's been used - just lay it down and voila! It gets smushed by its own weight and the bristles become soggy. I designed this to make that problem go away, but honestly, who comes up with these things? Maybe you're one of the lucky ones who owns the exact Oxo brush I'm talking about, which is Amazon's top seller, after all. If not, don't worry - I've included the Fusion360 file so you can design your own holder to fit your unique brush handle. If you do have a different brush, though, it's worth taking the time to get this holder just right. I learned that the hard way when I tried designing the part that contacts the brush handle by guessing at its curve - the result was a leaning brush that drove me crazy. So, what did I do? I took a picture of my brush handle, imported it into Fusion360, calibrated it to perfection and traced a profile with a spline following its smooth curve. Then, I revolved the body and combined/cut the curve into the holder. It's more words than you'd think necessary, but basically, if you don't own this exact Oxo brush or know your way around Fusion360, then this little project might be a bit of a challenge for you.
