Bottle Assisted Pool Floater 3"tabs

I desperately needed a floater for my kiddie pool right away, but unfortunately, all the local pool shops were closed due to the COVID-19 lockdown, so I decided to create one myself. There are similar designs available on Thingiverse, but they require a certain level of skill to print water-tight, and quite frankly, I'm not that skilled. That's why I came up with this design as my solution - simply attach two 16 oz bottles to the sides. I designed this floater using Members Mark bottles, which measure 65 mm in diameter, but feel free to let me know if you have different-sized bottles, and I can easily modify the design for you. The major advantage of this design is that the tab isn't fully submerged, making it perfect for small pools. In theory, a single tab should last at least a month or more without needing replacement. To secure the floater in place, there are holes on either side where you can use zip ties - although they're not strictly necessary if the bottles fit snugly. Edit: I've since updated this design to create the Floater Mk2. This newer version features additional holes on the sides and a central hole underneath for better chlorine distribution. Additionally, I've enlarged the chlorine tab holder by 1mm to ensure it fits more comfortably in place.
