I'm fed up with the tiny cup holders in my wife's Dacia Lodgy, so I hacked together an upgrade to fit a large 1.5L bottle and tweaked the holder angle for better placement. Check out the photos if you need help attaching the new holder. FYI: This is my wife's ride, and yeah, it's a bit grimy – but honestly, I don't really care.
