The "Pochod Praha-Prčice" stands as the largest hiking event in the Czech Republic. Every year, on the third weekend of May since 1966, thousands of hikers embark on this journey. The longest route spans an impressive 70 kilometers, while the shortest option is a more manageable 30 kilometers. All routes converge at the village of Prčice, where participants gather to celebrate their accomplishment. Approximately 20,000 people join in on the fun each year. As a reward for completing the trek, hikers receive a traditional plastic shoe, which changes color annually. The longest route also offers an additional incentive – a second porcelain shoe, as seen in 2015.
