BotBot

thingiverse

BotBot boasts a Level 2 Integrated 3D scanner for capturing images and a hidden 3D printer within its mainframe. Equipped with rocket-booster boots, BotBot can swiftly fly to locations in need of 3D printing assistance. His mission revolves around providing parts for other robots and bot operators. In the provided photos, BotBot helped Bobblehead Bob by printing spare pintacks. If BotBot encounters malfunctions, its integrated operating panel with LCD display and cursor keys allows other bots to print replacement parts. BotBot uses modified pintacs from "Toy-robot-toolkit" and extends gratitude to the toolkit creator and Bobblehead Bob for inspiration. The robot was modeled using Alibre Design and OpenSCAD before being printed on a Makerbot Cupcake CNC printer in red/white theme. A separate .zip file contains Alibre and STL files for missing torso hinge parts. For assembly, simply print and play; however, the 3D scanner visor may require adjustments to print properly.
