A whimsical robot with an endearing personality. This design is a nod to the retro-futurism of science fiction from the 1960s. Our miniature companion measures around four inches in height, its compact size making it perfect for desks or shelves. Utilizing Blender software, this little marvel was crafted with precision and care. For its physical manifestation, a RepRap Prusa i3 printer was employed, alternating between black filament and bronze, depending on the version. The need for support structures was particularly evident when creating the arms' overhangs. Layer height averaged 0.3 mm, while the nozzle diameter was 0.4 mm. At an elevated temperature of 200 degrees Celsius, PLA melted into its new form.
