<h3><i><strong>Summary</strong></i></h3><p>To celebrate my friend getting to Boston College, I designed a desk accessory for him with the BC logo. The logo consists of a “B” with a “C” through its center. I extruded the model up at an angle so the print can stand alone. The final product fits into a 10 cm x 10 cm x 10 cm constraint box and was printed using a gold filament to match the BC colors.&nbsp;</p><h3><i><strong>How I Designed This</strong></i></h3><p>First, I found a reference photo of the Bc logo online to trace for my basic sketch. Though I originally planned to include the Boston College mascot, an eagle, the cartoon sketch of the eagle that they use was complex and would not have printed as I had originally imagined. Once I found the photo that I wanted to use as a reference, I made my first sketch by tracing the outline of the letters on the top plane using a combination of lines and arches. After completing the original sketch, I made a separate sketch, also on the top plane. I drew a line parallel to the letters about 7.4 cm away from the first sketch.
