To minimize the risk of failure, print this part on strong materials with 100% infill. BOSTITCH Part Number JA1162E1 Exhaust Cover Replacement I damaged my Bostitch 18 ga nail gun's exhaust cover (the black knob at the back). The replacement part is relatively inexpensive but shipping costs are high. Additionally, the original appears to be a soft and brittle material. This is not an exact replica of the original part. I haven't conducted extensive testing, but it seems to function correctly so far. The 3/16" hole version has a precise center mounting hole that matches the original. However, I encountered difficulties printing accurate dimensions on my printer, so I opted for the other version with a 4mm hole and drilled it out to 3/16". Despite my unreliable plastic caliper measurements, all other dimensions appear to be reasonably close. Use this part at your own risk. To ensure reliability, print it using strong materials and 100% infill. My ABS print seems to work fine so far, but I recommend exercising caution when handling the part.
