Bose QC25 Cable Keeper

Bose QC25 Cable Keeper

Although I adore the Bose QuietComfort 25 headphones, I was let down by the fact that the otherwise-outstanding case lacks a cable keeper. As a Mac/iPhone/iPad user, I needed to bring along the Apple Lightning and USB-C headphone adapters, which added bulk to my setup. So I created this cable keeper to fit seamlessly into the case alongside the headphones. It's designed to hold the cable securely without being too tight, which can cause stress on the cable itself. The end in particular needs some slack to keep the microphone/button widget free. Start with the right-angle plug at the base, pointing inward, wrap the cable fairly tightly toward the top, and insert the straight plug through the hole, leaving a loose loop. The two indents at the top are perfectly sized to grasp the Apple Lightning to 3.5 mm headphone adapter or USB-C to 3.5 mm headphone adapter for the iPhone or iPad. I included two spots in case you have both, like I do. Bonus points if you can guess why I called it a "condensate". This creation was made using Tinkercad.
