The new stands are designed to be placed under a monitor, unfortunately the original stands are much too large and do not offer any setting options. Here is a guide on how to remove the old stand. But be careful: it is possible that the old original stand will be destroyed! Even if you can prevent it with a little caution. But you definitely have to remove a glued part... 1.) Unscrew the foot (3 screws). 2.) Carefully (!) pull the silver bezel forward with two fingers, one side at a time. Be careful not to bend the bezel. It is not glued, just stuck. 3.) Unscrew both speakers. Be careful not to damage the membrane! There is a small nose that prevents the speaker from falling out after unscrewing. I cut the two noses off with a side cutter. But you can also leave them in, then you need a lever (screwdriver) to remove and reinstall the speakers later. 3.) Remove the two wires to the speaker by unwinding the wire with tweezers. For me the cables were not soldered. You don't need to remember the colors because the terminals have the same color as the cables. 4.) Remove the two screws inside the speaker that hold the old stand. 5.) Pull out the stand with the cables. To do this, bend the cables a bit straight and try not to damage the foam. 6.) Now comes the trickiest part: the stand consists of two glued parts. Use a screwdriver to pry open the inner plastic part with the passage for the cable. And at the bottom. With a bit of caution, this is repairable. 7.) Pull the cable through the hole. The stand is gone! 8.) Now reassemble everything in reverse order. Without the stand of course :-). Simply wrap the cables around the terminal again. Or solder if you like. The new stand can be simply inserted.
