Bose AE2 Headphone spreader for storage

The main problem with my Bose AE2 headphones is that when I store them in my backpack or drawer, the ear cups compress together, causing the memory foam pads to become distorted and develop flat sides. I suspect they originally came with a protective case that prevented this issue, but since mine are second-hand, I don't have one. To resolve this problem, I designed a simple solution to place on the headphones while storing them, ensuring the ear cups don't press against each other and eliminating the risk of squished ear pads! This custom piece is 2mm thick, although you can increase its thickness by adjusting the Z-axis if you prefer a more robust design. For me, however, 2mm provides adequate protection.
