Bose Acoustimass adapter
thingiverse
I just got my hands on a brand new Bose Acoustimass 10 Series V surround-sound speaker system and was really let down to find out that it only mounts via a super specialized, non-standard system that completely didn't fit my "universal" speaker stands. After giving Bose a call to figure out what adapters they had available for sale directly, I found out that they'll sell you a $10 adapter each that supposedly converts to most speaker mount systems. But, theirs puts a sharp 90-degree crease in your speaker cables because they didn't design the adapter with a logical path for the wires. Some quick measurements and this is what I came up with. They gave me some surface area from which to mount to the brackets that came with the universal speaker stands I'd grabbed. The final prints were done in ABS so I could smooth (melt) the layers down a bit with acetone to provide more strength.
