This thing allows for conversion between Bosch and Makita. Can be used for several purposes, but specifically modified for a Makita Dust Bag (inner tube diameter 37mm) to fit a Bosch Orbital sander (outer tube diameter 20mm). So, the adapter fits on the outside of the Bosch dust outlet, and slides into the inside of the Makita dust bag.
