Bosch stove knob
thingiverse
My brother-in-law has been using the replacement knob for his Bosch stovetop with great results for several months now. However, there were some minor issues that needed to be addressed. The indicator mark was pointing the wrong way by 180 degrees, which caused some confusion when trying to use the stove. The fit on the shaft was also a bit sloppy, making it difficult to turn. Additionally, the shaft hole was too deep and required some creative problem-solving to fix. I believe that the original knob was likely designed for a different Bosch stove model, given its peculiar design features. In a surprise twist, my brother-in-law actually preferred the replacement knob over the original one and wanted a full set of them. To accommodate his request, I had to make some adjustments to the D cutout, which involved turning it around and sizing it down for a snug fit. With these modifications in place, I was able to print out multiple replacements, including one with an unexpected addition - a 3D scan of my niece's face that I had taken earlier. It turned out to be a fun surprise when she saw the result on one of the knobs!
