Bosch old 14,4V Column-Style Battery to 18V Slide-On Battery Adapter
prusaprinters

I have old BOSCH devices that need the old 14.4 V NiMH Battery Packs from BOSCH (Form O, 2607335850). I designed this adapter such that you can use the standard BOSCH proferssional slide-on batteries (GBA-18V) instead.

Note that BOSCH rebranded the 14.4 V system to 18 V. Any 14.4 V device/battery is still fully compatible with the 18 V system.

I just added an additional screw hole to the BOSCH form-o (2607335850) adapter from nessatse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3107232) so that it does not conflict with the slide-on mechanism of the BOSCH GBA battery packs. The GBA-18V holder is a remake of the holder by Simhopp (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2007996). I just made some changes to it so that it fits nessatses adapter.

I used a copper strip (1 x 10 mm) that was soft enough to slide it through the slots. However you can also use brass strips and just use a metal cutting screw from the side to connect them. If you want to bend, you can also cut away the bridge of the GBA adapter to give you more room.

You will need 3 x M4 Screws (10 mm length) and 3x M4 nuts. Furthermore you need a spring for the button mechanism. Please see https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3107232 for more details on this.

Print instructions

I printed with 150% extrusion width, 3 perimeters and and 10% infill. The bosch-formO-14.4-adapter.stl is the only model i printed with supports.
