Update 2022-10-30I've created another wheel to counter some issues I've experienced during this season. If you don't have dogs, this wheel is still better than the original. While I really like my Bosch Indego S500 robotmower, it has a few drawbacks. One of the more frustrating issues, is that the wheels lack any grip unless it's driving on a perfect flat, dry and bumpfree lawn. Countless times I found the robot stuck in some hole it has digged itself into, but no more! There are some wheels available on the world wide web, but none of them looked the way I wanted. The solution for me was to create my own, deep-dish replacements. The focus was to have a sturdy yet slim wheel with a more ‘trendy’ design than others (subjective, I know!). It's also designed so it didn't need any supports, except for the center if you place it on it's back to print.Print specifications that I used:Material: PETG (Prusament orange and galaxy black) to allow some flex and resist UV.Print settings:Print it lying on it's back (side that faces the robot)Layer height: 0.2mmPerimeters: 4(I'm also trying another wheel with 3 perimeters as well, but I can't tell yet if it will break/wear much faster. It saves 40 gram of plastic tough).Solid layers (top and bottom): 5Infill: Gyroid 10%Support material: Overhang: 25°There are 2 GCODE files available for the full wheel. Both use 4 perimeters. One for a single color wheel; One for a duo color wheel First part is for a cheaper or less used color (160 grams) until the center cap (28.40mm) (for me Orange). After 12h15mins it uses a M600 command to switch filament.Second part is for the deep dish and visible spokes. It's what I'll see the most when the robot is stalled in it's garage, so I picked a more stealthy color (black).I've also added 2 extra GCODE/STL files for testfitting purposes. Printing with a draft profile on a Prusa Mini gives you a testfit piece of the wheel in about 40 minutes (center only) or 1h 25minutes (center and outline).People with other Indego machines (350/700/1000/1200/…) can try these and comment if it fits their machine as well.Layer height: 0.25mmPerimeter: 2Solid layers (top and bottom): 3 or 4Infill: Lightning 10% or noneSupport material:Overhang: 25°I hope this design is useful for others that struggled with the same problem I have. Like and post makes if it solved the same problem!
