bosch hmi display classic line backplate
thingiverse
I made a replacement back plate for the Bosch hmi display used for e bikes around 2012, since the original plate broke. The model is not perfect but is working for a couple of months now. To make your own, you will need two M2 screws with 6mm shaft and fitting nuts to attach the screw-part to the new back-plate and also the screws and pins from the original one. Note: The pictures show an older version, where the M2 screw are the other way around and screwed directly into the plastic. This has not worked well,so I flipped them and added nuts. When taking the display apart, be careful not to lose the springs that push the pins down. Those pins are held in with a tiny clip from the inside, these are quit hard to remove and easy to lose, so i had to make replacement clips, that I could print. Put in the pins into the new plate from the back and install the clips on the inside. The springs go on top of the pins and everything can be reassembled. I reused the original casket for water proofing and nothing more, so far no problems but you might want to waterproof the seems between the back plate and screw-part. Hope this helps someone since the display currently sells for like 170€ on ebay, which is just ridicules.
