After developing the concept of a circle cutting device for the GKF 12V (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3255907), I envisioned an improved version that would enhance usability and functionality. The idea of a rip fence soon followed, requiring significant thought and consideration. The next step was to create a more advanced router from the existing edge trimmer, expanding its capabilities. Based on this foundation, I designed an adapter that could serve as both a circle jig and a rip fence. To set up the rip fence, simply turn the small knob (borrowed from the kerfmaker by Zeropage: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2979838) located on the rip fence. For the circle cutting device, first attach the rip fence, then flip it over and reattach it. Insert a 5 mm shelf pin into the pre-drilled hole to use as a fulcrum. Proper pressure must be applied to both the adapter and the parallel stop base of the support. Post-processing is also crucial for optimal performance. To assemble this device, you will need: * 80 mm threaded rod M6 * 4 x M6 x 25mm screws with hexagonal heads for the M6 knob * 6 nuts M6 * 10 mm aluminum pipe of any desired length All metal components should be glued together using Epoxy for added strength. Drill holes in the fence and adapter up to 6.5 mm for a smooth working experience. Similarly, drill holes for the guiderail up to 10.5 mm for seamless operation.
