Bosch eBike wall mount battery terminal
thingiverse
This is a wall mount battery holder/terminal designed specifically for the second generation of Bosch eBike framework models. You can easily insert the charger cable into the oval-shaped hole on top. To secure it firmly in place, position it nicely and then tie it with a cable tie at the lower end using a screw driver to tighten it well enough. Make sure it is tied tight, I used a cable tie from my Prusa printer for this purpose. If you don't do this, the charger cable will bend as soon as it comes out of the terminal, causing friction issues that result in the battery staying stuck inside when removed. This can be frustrating. To mount it on the wall securely, use a long screw driver to tighten the top holes. The diameter of these holes is 5mm, so 4mm screws are suitable for this design and work well with dome head screws. If flat head screws are needed instead, I can easily adjust the design accordingly. For added protection of your battery, you can attach felt to the terminal to prevent scratches from occurring when inserting or removing the battery. I used these felt pads from IKEA: https://www.ikea.com/de/de/catalog/products/24155600/?cid=ps%7Cde%7Cno_cc_topic%7C4MLRrWwPr0gHjIOUyfOOktEtkrhBQM. Printing this design is straightforward, as it doesn't require any support material. However, you might experience some sticking issues in a couple of spots, but these can be removed later without any problems. In the next revision, I plan to add a window for the battery status LEDs so that users can easily monitor the battery's condition. If you have any suggestions or ideas for improvements, please feel free to leave a comment below.
