Bosch Dishwasher rack caps

This model may change your life, even the world.Ok, jokes aside, what this is is a cap that can be printed out to go on your Bosch dishwasher tines. The tops of the tines on your dishwasher rack have a little coating, but it flakes off and then a pokey, rusty tine is left in its place. It's easy to scrape your fingers on these if you aren't paying attention. I thought for sure these would exist as a model already, and didn't find any. While you can buy a set, it was $22 when I looked. So, I designed and printed some.CAVEAT: Every tine in your dishwasher is going to be slightly different, because these coating things aren't applied evenly! I suggest you print a few at different scales to see what will work. For our dishwasher, I ended up scaling these to:X 95%Y 95%Z 100% for MOST tinesYou may have a few oddballs requiring custom sizing. The STL size is likely slightly too loose. so start w/ 100%, 98%, 95% for sampling with your dishwasher, try them on a few different tines to check fit. Repeat as needed w/different sizes.Once you have your ideal fit, print up a bunch of em by object to speed it up. The ideal fit is snug and unlikely to come off. Some people will be concerned about TPU in the dishwasher. Several people have printed gaskets or wheels for dishwashers, and I've printed a Contigo replacement TPU sleeve which has gone through many cycles with no issue. I have seen no issues with the dishwasher, other than if they are too loose they may pop off (which is why it's a great idea to test fit). These are tiny to print so we are talking minimal filament here.Printed with Sainsmart TPU, on an Ender S1 Pro, with brim.Infill irrelevant. 2 walls.
