I've been struggling with my Bosch Exxcel dish washer not properly cleaning plates on the lower rack. To gain insight into its operation while keeping the door open, I duplicated the door latch mechanism. Please note that this modification is only feasible after removing the water jets and leaving the door slightly ajar to avoid a thorough wash cycle.
