Bosch Colt | Circle Jig
thingiverse
Router circle jig base plate for Bosch Colt model palm router. Design based off factory layout. Existing threaded insert on back side of fixed base holds single threaded rod, used as jig's pivoting axis. Design features reinforced hole opening and guide rails to provide further support and stability. Materials: 1 x 6mm x 1.0 threaded rod (length determined by radius of circle) 3 x 6mm x 1.0 nut 1 x 6mm x 1.0 thumb screw You can see the locations of the three nuts in the back side view of the assembly. The thumb screw goes in the top of the rotating axis, and is used to hold assembly at desired length. Threading on thumb screw must be at least 1/2" (13mm) in length. Bottom is indented O.C. for you to customize its attachment to the work surface as you see fit (See images 3 & 4). Can also be used with double-sided adhesive to leave no markings behind. (Can add plunge base design, depending on need/interest) This is a work in progress, as I am working on a series of designs and adapters for BORA NGX & WTX Clamp-Edge system compatibility. Please let me know of any issues with the model, so I can fix them. Thank you!
