Bosch 18V NiMh to LiIon Battery Adapter Akku
thingiverse
I bought an old Bosch 18V impact driver with an oldfashioned NiMh battery and wanted to use my 18V LiIon batteries. As I could not find anything I designed one. The parts are connected with M4 screws. For the contacts I use FR4 raw PCBs (towards LiIon battery) and an old connector of a NiMh battery (towards the machine). In total, you need: 8x M4 screws with a round cylindrical head; ~15mm length; two need to be shortened to allow the LiIon battery to slide in 8x M4 nuts 2x ~10cm 2,5mm² wires 4x connectors (2x 13mm; 2x 11mm; each ~1mm thick; e.g. FR4 material, copper..) Let me know if anything needs modifications, for me it fits perfectly.
