I decided to give my Boscam FR632 a unique video receiver display that combines versatility with visual flair. The plan was to securely fasten it in place while still being able to move it as needed - without relying on messy Velcro attachments, which can be more hassle than they're worth. So I set out to create a customized holder from scratch. A thin yellow stripe running along the bottom of the holder was an experiment I conducted purely for aesthetics' sake. This detail isn't part of the STL file used to 3D print the piece, and in fact it doesn't even require dual extruders, which adds an extra layer of simplicity. The process of incorporating this design element was quite straightforward: simply pause the print job at the right moment, swap out the black filament for some vibrant yellow material, and let the printer run with the new color before switching back to the original one when needed - a trick I'll likely put to use again in future projects.
