Located across Yabba Creek, a tributary of the Mary River, the lake features a surface area of 500 hectares at an average depth of 6.6 meters and holds 33,300 mega litres when full. Used primarily for irrigation purposes, Borumba offers an angler's dream... peaceful waters, misty dawns with deer & dingoes spotted & heard, fishing spots available above & below the water's edge with rainforest growing to the lake's shoreline in many places.
