The Franzdorfer Viadukt, also known as the Borovnica Viaduct, is a former viaduct located in the town of Borovnica and designed by Carl Ritter von Ghega. At the time it was built, this stone bridge stood out as one of Europe's most remarkable structures. Unfortunately, it was bombed several times during World War 2 and completely destroyed after the war. Today, only a single column remains partially preserved in Borovnica. The scale model is approximately 1:915. To increase the size to your desired scale, use scaling. For a 0.25 nozzle size, the minimum scaling needed is 126% (a 26% increase) to capture all features. You can print the Borovnica Viaduct as either a complete structure or individual parts. To print it in its entirety: 1. Use borovnica_complete.stl, which has a scale of around 1:915. 2. You will need to perform cuts yourself and then print it in one or multiple runs. Alternatively, you can print the viaduct separately by printing each individual part (also at a scale of 1:915) and gluing them together. For a complete Borovnica Viaduct, you will need: | PART No. | No. of pieces | Description | | ----- | ---------:| ------ | |**PART 1 ** | 2 x (2 pieces) | Top arch right from double column (see Borovnica_plan.png and Borovnica_viaduct-Ghega's_original_plan.jpg taken from Wikipedia)| |**PART 2** | 24 x | Top rail track part | |**PART 3** | 2 x | Top rail track long part | |**PART 4** | 2 x | Top long arch | |**PART 5** | 22 x | Top symmetric arch | |**PART 6** | 22 x | Bottom arch, all are same! | |**PART 7** | 23 x | Single column | |**PART 8** | 2 x | Double column | Some visualizations of the complete Borovnica Viaduct using Google Earth can be found at https://youtu.be/LNwRzozVRI0.
